ILLW 2018 is over

August 19, 2018

Well that's it for ILLW 2018...many thanks to all KARG members that attended and helped make it a success again. Propagation was not very good for the most part, with 20M and 40M providing most QSO's. We ran all modes - SSB, CW and FT8. The Hexbeam worked a treat.

Thanks to Lighthouse Manager, Wendy, for her fantastic hospitality and assistance. It was very much appreciated.

Finally thanks to EI4DP and all the visitors that came along to our talks on Amateur Radio over the weekend. We hope that you enjoyed it.

I cannot recommend Cromwell Point Lighthouse enough for visitors. It has a great cafe, exhibits and facilities, and is so educational.
